Our hospitality area was a hit with everyone that visited it – and it was so great to be able to offer the lighting crew throughout the festival, a place to relax and have something to eat, be it something whipped up by our onsite chef James or an ice cream when it hit those high temperatures.
As always, we were proud to be set up at the Woodsies Stage, sharing the space with the fantastic team at Siyan. The Woodsies house rig was a standout this year, packed with 64 Astera AX9s and 32 Ayrton Rivale Profiles, delivering incredible looks from day to night. The AX9s provided powerful, versatile wash lighting with wireless flexibility, while the Rivales brought bold, high-impact beams and stunning effects. The stage was also majority of the time ran using MA3 Consoles, that were again supplied by Siyan.

Kicking things off in style on Friday, the stage played host to a surprise set from Lorde, who opened the festival with a stunning performance. Lighting Designer Matt Daw made full use of the house rig, enhancing it with Astera Titan Tubes and PixelBricks to create an intimate yet cinematic look that wowed the crowd and set the tone for the weekend.
Throughout the weekend, Woodsies hosted a standout line-up of talent, all backed by world-class lighting design. Emma Davies delivered a high-octane headline set for Scissor Sisters, generating such an electric atmosphere that the area was briefly shut down – a true Glastonbury moment. James Washer brought a bold and fun visual style to Pink Pantheress, while Carlos Katsurayama delivered a slick and precise design for Djo, with kit supplied by Colour Sound Experiment. Meanwhile, LCR provided the lighting for Floating Points and Four Tet, creating deep, immersive visuals that perfectly complemented their late-night sets.
Across the festival, Ambersphere brands could be seen dominating the technical setups.
MA3 consoles were once again the control desk of choice across many major stages – from the Pyramid which was supplied by our friends at Neg Earth and Other which was supplied by Siyan, to the Park Stage supplied by South Western Group and West Holts supplied by DPL – giving LDs the flexibility, power and reliability they need for high-pressure shows in one of the most demanding live environments on earth. The grandMA3 continues to set the standard for festival control.
Ayrton fixtures featured heavily throughout, with Rivales, Cobras, Mambas, Kyalamis and more adding dynamic movement, rich colour, and punchy beam work across stages of every size. From the house rigs to bespoke touring setups, their power and versatility made them a favourite once again.
Astera’s battery-powered brilliance was on display in all corners of the site – from immersive installations to hidden woodland sets – with the AX9s, PixelBricks, Titans and Helios Tubes providing wireless, waterproof, creative lighting solutions that never missed a beat.
We caught up with so many people, like Michael Straun who was lighting the Friday night headliners – The 1975, Nathaniel Cromwell who was with Alanis Morissette, Elliot Baines from Spiral Stage Lighting, Tim Fawkes with The Prodigy and so many more.
We’re always honoured to support the designers, technicians and creatives who make Glastonbury so visually unforgettable – and incredibly proud to see our brands trusted at every level, across the biggest productions.
Huge thanks to everyone who dropped by Woodsies for a chat, a coffee, or a bit of shade from the sun (or rain!).
And a massive thank you to Cate Carter, Siyan and everyone else who worked on the Woodsies stage.
