Nando 1202

Two years after the release of Nando 502, equipped with new RGB-L LED sources perfectly suited to stage lighting and met with extraordinary success, we decided to create a more powerful new version of this luminaire, which we named Nando 1202. Featuring 28 high-performance 50-watt additive colourmixing LED sources, Nando 1202 offers a proprietary optical system built around a 303 mm PMMA cluster paired with 28 precision-machined glass light guides, each with a micro-structured optical exit surface. This new LED source brings the advantage of improved integration within the colour space and enables perfect colour repeatability with a CRI above 86. Nando 1202 delivers a luminous flux of 25,000 lumens and provides perfectly homogeneous mixing of pastel or saturated colours. This new luminaire shifts from Beam to Wash instantly and offers a 15:1 zoom ratio with an exceptionally wide operating range from 3.5° to 53°. Its black honeycomb louvre and the perfect isolation of the light sources from one another significantly enhance contrast. The design of the anti-reflective treated glass window guarantees an optimal visual result and delivers increased performance.

Nando 1202 is an incredibly compact luminaire intended for stage lighting and specifically designed for mixed use both indoors and outdoors, including in saline environments. The entirely new minimalist design of Nando 1202 provides complete accessibility to the luminaire’s functions while keeping weight under tight control. Reducing the thickness of the aluminium parts, optimising the cooling system, simplifying lens guidance, and integrating low-density optical components have made it possible to achieve a significant 20% weight reduction. A new ventilation system, submersible within a non-sealed compartment, enables optimal cooling of the luminaire. Individual control of each LED source makes it possible to create breath-taking volumetric 3D effects. A comprehensive library of pre-programmed colours allows subtle, dense, or high-contrast washes to be created quickly.
